This week it’s “Hamster Week” at Albert Heijn, the biggest supermarket chain in Holland. ‘To hamster’ means that you can buy your groceries very cheap (two product for the price of one). And we Dutch people like this very much!

All the Albert Heijns are looking like supermarket warzones! Here you see the result of a normal tuesday: empty shelves! With only a sausage, gourmet dish and a lot of christmas wine left overs. Hmmm, doesn’t really sounds like a nice meal huh?

You can also see an order list from a supermarket manager, that just ran out of the supermarket, screaming and pulling all his hair out on his way outside.
